Physics 51 is a two-semester introductory physics course at Pomona
College for students who have had or are currently taking calculus.
This course is based on an innovative curriculum entitled
Six Ideas That
Shaped Physics that was one of four course models developed
for the national Introductory University Physics Project (IUPP), a
joint project of the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the
American Institute of Physics (AIP).
